About Me
I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto in the Department of Anthropology. I completed my PhD in Biological Anthropology at the University of Cambridge in 2017, where I specialised in bioarchaeology.
I integrate skeletal, archaeological, and ecological lines of evidence to understand how human behaviours and biology were impacted by diverse ecological conditions in the past. I use a range of methods including 3D modelling, biomechanical analyses, and spatial analyses to examine how people negotiated environmental challenges. My work is based in South Africa and Namibia, however I also have research interests in eastern Africa and North America.
